On this page, you will learn everything you need to know about creating and sending an email campaign to your subscribers.
A campaign is an email that is sent once to all or some of your subscribers. It can be used to share information about new product releases, send out a newsletter, or just stay in touch with your subscribers.

Note: If you want to send an email automatically when a specific trigger occurs, then email automation is the right choice.

Create a campaign
Go to the Emails menu item and then click on the New campaign button.
Name
Give your campaign a name. The name is visible only to you and helps you organize your messages.
Recipients
Specify who should receive the emails of this campaign. You can choose from various recipient circles. For example: All subscribers or subscribers who have purchased certain products from you.
Delivery
Choose whether your campaign should be sent immediately or on a specific day at a specific time.
Everything you enter here will be visible to the recipients of your message. Write the subject and body text of the campaign email.
The text box allows you to use the following formatting:
- plain text
- Bold text
- italic
- underlined
- Strikethrough
- Quotes
- Heading 1
- Heading 2
- Heading 3
- Unsorted list
- sorted list
You can also assign a font color or background color to your text. In addition, you have the option of embedding links and images in your emails.
Email personalization
To personalize your email, you can also insert placeholders to display your customers' email addresses, full names, or first names.
Note: Since emails are displayed differently on almost every device and in every software program, only certain text formatting options are currently permitted. Before emails are sent, incorrect formatting, such as that caused by copying and pasting, is automatically removed.
Save and delete
When you are satisfied with your email or would like to continue later, click on the Save as draft / Save changes button.
To delete your draft, click on the Discard / Delete button.
Testing and sending a campaign
Create a new campaign or open an existing campaign draft.
Send a Test Message
Before sending a campaign to subscribers, you should send yourself a test version of your campaign. To do this, click on the Send test button.
Within a few minutes, you will receive your campaign as a test at the email address registered to your Tentary account.
The test message will look exactly the same as the one your subscribers will receive. Only the sender will be different in the final email, as you can see in Send Campaign.
Send Campaign
Once you have checked your campaign and are ready to send it, click on the Send now or Send later button. Confirm the sending and you're done!
Your campaign will be displayed as sent in the Emails > Campaigns menu item at the time of sending, and you will also see the number of recipients. Your message will be queued in the background and sent to all your recipients within a few minutes.
The campaign will be sent with the following sender details:
From: Your company name <noreply@b.tentary.com>
Reply-to: Your email for customers queries
You can edit this information in your settings under Billing settings and address.
