Whether a purchase was made through an affiliate link can be tracked technically without doubt. However, for your partners – or customers – this isn’t immediately visible. That’s exactly what the Transparency Mode is for, which we’ll explain in this article.

What Is Transparency Mode?
With this feature, the name of the respective affiliate partner is displayed on the checkout page and is visible to anyone using the link.
When transparency mode is enabled for a program:
- Customers can see at checkout which affiliate they’re buying through.
- Partners can verify that their link is working correctly.
Why Use Transparency Mode?
Transparency mode builds trust and clarity – both for your affiliate partners and your customers.
Especially when multiple affiliates promote the same product, the display on the checkout page helps confirm that attribution is being tracked correctly.
How to Enable Transparency Mode
You can activate this option in your affiliate program settings.
Go to the menu Affiliates > Settings and scroll all the way down. Enable transparency mode by setting Show affiliate partner’s name on the checkout page (visible to customer) to Yes.
Where Is the Name Displayed?
If the checkout page is accessed via an affiliate link, the affiliate partner’s name will appear below the order button.
You’ll find this info in the same box that contains the terms and conditions, cancellation policy, and privacy notice. At the very bottom, it will say Sold by (Name), as shown in the following screenshot:
