What is the login for customers?
To access their own customer area in your shop, your customers must first log in. Once logged in, they can see an overview of the products they purchased in your shop and access those products directly.
The design of the login, along with the associated pages and emails, is automatically adjusted to match the design of your shop, ensuring seamless integration.
The device used for login is verified with the email address for 30 days, meaning customers do not need to re-enter the code for subsequent visits within this timeframe unless they log out.
Where is the login located?
There are two ways for your customers to access the login area:
-
Direct Link
For every shop, the login area is accessible by adding /login to the shop’s domain.
Example: If a shop uses the subdomain shop.tentary.com, the login link for this shop will be shop.tentary.com/login.
-
Link in the Header
You can display a link in your shop’s header, allowing customers to log in directly when visiting your shop. This link is displayed at the top right, as shown in the following screenshot:
To activate this link, go to Shop > Design and check the option Show login link in header, on the Header tab, just below your logo/profile picture.
How can customers log in?
When customers visit the login page for the first time, they are asked to enter their email address.
Once they have entered their email address and clicked the Login button, they will receive an email containing a confirmation code, which is required on the next page.
The code can be copied from the email into the four designated fields. After clicking Confirm Code, the overview of purchased products is displayed.
Note: If customers have entered their email address incorrectly, they can update it using the Change Email Address link. Additionally, a new code can be requested using the corresponding button.
The device used for login is verified with the email address for 30 days, meaning customers do not need to re-enter the code for subsequent visits, provided they do not log out.
By clicking on one of the purchased products, the corresponding product page opens, giving your customers centralized and convenient access to all products they have purchased in your shop.
Note: The login for the customer area is independent of whether or not access protection for a product is activated.
