Shop: Automatic Language Selection
If your customers use German as their browser language, all general functions of your shop, such as buttons, the checkout process, and emails sent during the order process, will automatically be displayed in German. If the browser language is different, everything will automatically be displayed in English.
Tentary Account: Language Settings
If you do not use German as your browser language, your Tentary account will automatically be displayed in English. You can change this by opening your account settings and selecting German at the bottom of the page.
The reverse is also possible: if your browser language is German but you prefer to view your backend in English, you can adjust this setting accordingly.
Bilingual Shop
If you want to offer products in your shop in two languages, you have the following two options:
- You can create each product twice, for example, once in German and once in English, and offer them in your shop. Additionally, you can assign suitable categories to these products. The shop description and all legal pages can also be easily provided in two languages if needed.
- Alternatively, you can open a second shop. However, this would need to be registered under a different email address than your existing one, allowing you to offer everything in another language.
