Change Domain Name
Tentary Subdomain (e.g., shop.tentary.com)
To update your Tentary subdomain, go to your shop’s domain settings and enter the desired new Tentary subdomain into the URL field. Confirm the change by clicking the Save button.
Tip: If the Tentary subdomain you want is already in use, it cannot be assigned again. In this case, you will receive the error message The URL is already taken
. Try an alternative subdomain instead.
Note: Changing your Tentary subdomain does not create an automatic redirection from your old shop URL to the new one. Any links you have shared with customers or published on platforms will no longer be valid. This change also affects your SEO.
Custom (Sub-)Domain (e.g., shop.com or shop.website.com)
If you use a custom (sub-)domain and want to change it, you first need to purchase your desired new (sub-)domain from your domain provider. Then, connect it to your Tentary account as you did with your previous domain. If you’re unsure how to do this, refer to this guide.
Note: In this case, you can set up an automatic redirection from your old shop URL to the new one. However, the old domain must remain in your possession for the redirection to work.
