The price you specify when creating a new product is by default the final price (also gross price) that will be due upon payment. Your net income depends on the country of the buyers and whether they are private customers or businesses.
In Europe, for example, digital products are usually taxed in the country where the buyer is located. Because of this, very different VAT rates (from 17% to 27%) can apply depending on the circumstances.
Therefore, we have decided that the final price will be specified by default when creating the product. This way, customers always see the same price and only the tax amount varies. Otherwise, very uneven prices would be displayed in some cases.
Optional: Net prices
Optionally, you can change the calculation of prices to net prices. You can find this setting in the invoice details and set it uniformly for your entire shop.
If you change the corresponding setting from "gross prices" to "net prices," all price information you have made for your products will be treated as net prices. This may make sense if you expect predominantly commercial buyers.
In the purchasing process, the correct value-added tax will then be automatically added to the net amount (if necessary). The buyer sees both the net and the gross price when purchasing.
Note that in this case, your income is always the same, and buyers may see uneven prices because the value-added tax is added depending on the country and tax rate.

Minimum price for products
Products sold through Tentary have a minimum price of one euro (€1 or $1). This minimum price ensures that all offered payment methods function smoothly.
The minimum price for most other currencies is also 100 cents (e.g., 1 US dollar, 1 British pound). The only exception currently is Danish kroner, where a minimum price of 7 kroner applies.
Alternatively, it is possible to offer completely free products.
Note: If a price between one and 99 cents is specified when creating a product, the price is automatically corrected to 100 cents. If the price of a product falls below 100 cents due to the use of a coupon, it is also corrected to 100 cents.
